Rabbit River Systems

Practical systems for finding, winning, and serving customers.

We help owner-led businesses identify missed opportunities, improve customer follow-up, and build useful tools and workflows for the AI era.

Where opportunities go

Good businesses lose opportunities in ordinary places.

Rarely because of one big failure. Usually because of small, fixable gaps between first contact and the next step.

  • Inquiries that get slow or inconsistent responses
  • Weak or missing calls to action on the website
  • Prospects who disappear after the first conversation
  • Offers that aren’t clear enough to act on
  • Follow-up that never quite happens
  • Customer information scattered across places
  • Manual work that could be simplified
  • Websites that look acceptable but don’t move customers forward
  • AI tools adopted without a clear business reason

These problems are often fixable without rebuilding the whole business.

Where we start

Start with a Smart Sales Scan.

We examine how your business is found, how prospects move toward a decision, how inquiries are handled, where follow-up breaks down, and where practical improvements may recover lost opportunities.

The goal is not to sell the largest project. The goal is to find the smallest useful fix that can make a meaningful difference.

How it works

  1. Scan — look at how customers find and reach you
  2. Diagnose — find where opportunities are lost
  3. Prioritize — isolate the one that matters most
  4. Recommend — the smallest practical fix
  5. Build or implement — when it’s the right move
  6. Measure — see what changed, improve from there

We also conduct independent scans of selected businesses. When we identify a meaningful opportunity or a relatively simple fix, we may contact the business directly with what we found. Scope and format vary depending on the business and the issue being examined.

What we do

From diagnosis to practical implementation.

Customer & sales systems

Improve how prospects are attracted, handled, followed up with, and converted.

Practical AI workflows

Apply AI to useful business work without adding unnecessary complexity.

Lightweight tools & mini apps

Build focused calculators, trackers, intake tools, dashboards, and customer-facing utilities.

Advisory & implementation

Help owners understand what to do next and put the right solution into operation.

The whole job

Solve the core problem. Build the supporting tools.

The main work is identifying and fixing the business problem. Supporting tools may include calculators, intake forms, follow-up systems, dashboards, mini applications, templates, and AI-assisted workflows.

Rabbit River is more than a software catalog. We start with the problem, then build only what genuinely helps.

Tools

Small tools that support the work.

Some support client engagements; some can be built for a specific business; some are early. Every status below is honest — nothing here claims to be more finished than it is.

The founder

Led by Kevin Butler.

Kevin Butler’s career spans advanced electronics, technical training, systems engineering, enterprise technology sales, government and public-sector work, and more than 25 years carrying a sales quota. He began working with Fortune 100, Fortune 500, and global customers as a sales engineer in 1997 and moved into full-time sales in 2000.

Since late 2022, Kevin has worked with AI nearly every day — testing tools, building workflows, and studying how the technology changes the way businesses find, serve, and retain customers.
